IDEA of Bavta Controlcenter
The founder of Bavta Medical Informatics, Egon Schmidt, has more than 10 years of experience working with conventional software in radiological departments throughout Europe.
During those years Schmidt realized important patient information was often lost because of complex or antiquated filing systems. The Doctor was not able to view all of the Patient Records, thereby missing valuable diagnostic images or notations. Doctors can now avoid lost time for patient treatment and focus on relevant data. It is as easy as one direct click in the Bavta 2D ControlCenter to view complete Electronic Patient Records.
Mr. Schmidt, of Skanderborg, Denmark, uses a Nordic theme for his newly developed, easy-to-operate, Software.
BAVTA - the name of the stones where the vikings chiseled their information. That is why the main ControlCenter software is called Bavta2D. (pronounced bauta )
RUNESTEN - the smaller stone where ancient vikings chiseled information using a hammer called RUNER. The software that transforms physical documents and digital images into the global standard format for Patient data reading is Runesten. (pronounced roonstin)
SMED - the profession of the ancient vikings who provided the hammer and tools to cut into stones. That is why we call the software to attach to Ultrasound and Scopes and other dynamic documentation equipment this name. Smed allows the images to be stored electronically in an electronic storage or on CD /DVDs . (pronounced smet).
DYSSE - the name of a stone storage where valuable things were kept. That is why we call our storage DYSSE which is able to store huge amounts of digital data securely because we mirror the hard disk. (pronounced doosu)
The sum of this creates the BAVTA CONTROLCENTER which can be installed with or without an automated CD/DVD Publisher. (We recommend the RIMAGE 2000i series.)
Using the ControlCenter you can transfer all medical information into DIGITAL signals. This creates the possibility to send this information thru the internet or internal network. In addition, it saves all documentation digitally for fast retrieval on request. This system is used as a Patient data managing system in large hospitals cooperating with smaller clinics where the scaleable system grows with the success of the hospital and/or clinic. Storage of all digital images, digital photos, digital videos of intervention, scanning of reports, pre/post-operative reports, medications, and EKG plus any other test results, is now possible.
The sum of all this effort allows the Medical professional to retrieve patient information easily, and to make the best treatment decisions for the patient.
